Pench national park is in Seoni district. Pench national park consist of lots of spices of wild animals. The Park nestles in the Southern slopes of the Satpura ranges of Central India. Pench national park is situated in the area of 542.66 Square kms.
This park is famous for the tigers. and is the best areas for Indian bison, leopard, wild dog and a host of other wildlife and avian species like Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Wild Boar etc. One can see over 285 species of Birds. Some of them are Indian Pitta, Malabar Pied, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, Brahmini Duck etc. The forest of Pench national park consist of 1200 species of plants including some rare plant. |
